Guy Ciarrocchi is one of us – a husband, father and taxpayer – who shares the concerns of our families, the hopes of our parents and grandparents, and the desire of our communities to protect and improve our quality-of-life. His goals are our goals – and he will help achieve them by bringing common sense back to Harrisburg.

Just as important, Guy has the real-life experience to make an immediate impact in state government because he has seen firsthand what is wrong and what needs to be changed. His varied background includes a successful record as a local public official, experience in government, and as an executive manager.

Guy is the Chief of Staff for Congressman Jim Gerlach (now on leave without pay, to campaign for Representative). In that role he manages a 15-member staff and oversees a $1.4 million operating budget – all while identifying local needs and performing vital constituent services. It is this executive management experience, combined with his knowledge of local issues that will help make him an effective Representative right away.

Guy served our families as a successful local Supervisor in Tredyffrin Township where he proved his ability to be an independent voice for our families and showed his commitment to fiscal responsibility by never raising property taxes.

A former Deputy Attorney General for Pennsylvania, Guy helped protect our families from violent criminals and as the past local Director for the U.S. Agency of Housing & Urban Development he helped educate consumers against "predatory lenders."

Guy is also the former Executive Director of the State Senate Finance Committee. He knows there are programs that can be cut to save tax dollars and that state government must focus spending on real priorities. Guy has the experience to do it – to bring about fiscal sanity.

Most importantly, Guy is a husband, father to three growing children, and a passionate volunteer. From coaching softball, baseball, and soccer, to serving on his township’s Environmental Advisory Council and his county’s Children Youth & Families Advisory Board, Guy has a history of fighting for our children, our environment, and our local needs.

Now Guy wants to bring his unique blend of experience and passion to Harrisburg to fight for us. He’ll start by reforming Harrisburg to both restore public confidence in state government and finally bring action to the real issues affecting our families – action that has not occurred because Harrisburg has become paralyzed by partisan politics.

Then he’ll work to control spending to protect taxpayers, give local schools the support and freedom they need to educate our children, spark economic growth and job creation, preserve open space, and promote alternative energy solutions.

Now more than ever, we need leaders in Harrisburg who understand our needs, are committed to reforming the way our government works, and have the real-world experience to make a difference on the issues that matter most to us and our families. This year in the 157th State House race, that leader is Guy Ciarrocchi.
